These pages are a long overdue personal project. They bring together my South Florida heritage and my life and work here in the Tampa Bay area.

I’ve been collecting old family photos for years, and as I began offering cursive transcription services and using my own collection as reference, I realized how much history lives in these small, forgotten moments.

As I go through my collection, I will transcribe the cursive handwriting and digitally archive the photos and documents for safekeeping. And I’ll share some of those moments in time here for preservation.

Although I do use AI for some help with photo enhancements, research, and proofreading, my goal is to keep these photos and stories as authentic as possible.

I want to make sure we don’t lose the real, rough-edged history that belongs in the books for our future reference, rather than a filtered version. I will make sure to note which photos are original scans versus AI-enhanced.
