Yes! We’ll come to you.

Ybor Notary is fully mobile across Tampa, Ybor City, Channelside, Downtown, Riverwalk, Davis and Harbor Islands, Gasworx, Orient Park, Brandon, and surrounding neighborhoods.

We’ll meet you where you are: homes, offices, hospitals, cafés, or public locations.

 

📅 Do I need an appointment?

Yes.

All services are by appointment only, with flexible early and after‑hours availability to accommodate busy schedules.

 

🕒 Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?

Yes.

We offer extended hours, as well as early morning and after‑hours appointments when needed.

Just reach out and we’ll do our best to accommodate your timing.

 

🪪 What forms of ID are accepted?

Florida accepts several forms of government‑issued photo identification, including:

  • Florida driver’s license or ID card

  • Out‑of‑state driver’s license

  • U.S. passport

  • Military ID

These must be valid and unexpired.

 

📄 What types of documents can you notarize?

Most documents that require a notarized signature, including:

  • Acknowledgments

  • Jurats / sworn statements

  • Power of attorney

  • Affidavits

  • Travel consent forms

  • VIN verifications

  • Real estate documents

  • General business documents

If you don’t see your document listed, just ask us! Sometimes notarizations aren’t listed publicly.

 

✍️ What’s the difference between an Acknowledgment and a Jurat?

  • Acknowledgment: You confirm that you signed the document willingly.

  • Jurat: You swear or affirm that the contents of the document are true, and you sign in my presence.

🚗 How soon can you arrive?

Travel time varies based on location and availability.

When you reach out, we’ll give you the next available appointment and estimated arrival window.

 

🏢 Can we meet in a public place?

Yes.

Public locations such as cafés, lobbies, or coworking spaces are perfectly acceptable for notarizations.

 

🏠 Can I come to your office?

Ybor Notary is mobile‑only, so we do not offer walk‑in appointments or a public office location but can arrange an agreed upon location.

 

👥 Do all signers need to be present?

Yes.

Anyone whose signature needs to be notarized must be physically present with valid ID at the time of the appointment.

 

Can you give legal advice or tell me which notarial act I need?

No.

Florida notaries cannot provide legal advice or choose the notarial wording for you unless we are also licensed attorneys.

If you’re unsure, check with the document issuer.

 

🧾 What should I bring to my appointment?

  • The document(s) to be notarized

  • Valid government‑issued ID

  • Any witnesses required by the document (if applicable)

  • Instructions from the document issuer, if provided

 

🔄 Do you offer refunds?

Travel fees are non‑refundable once travel has begun.

If you need to cancel before we depart, refunds may be available depending on the situation.
